OLD – NEW  KITCHEN

Old pieces of furniture were adapted to suit new spaces and functions.
Secondhand furniture or beloved heirlooms were resized, optimised and adapted to the individual space and the customers use of the kitchen. Creations of  individual combinations of old and new emerged.

In the following you find some wrap-up of some of those kitchen stories:

UPDATE 1686-2025, customised kitchen unit created from various elements of Poggenpohl Küche 1968.

A number of the modules still had the sticker with the information about the production and the first buyer on the back.

Several modules were cut and reassembled to functionally integrate the cooker, dishwasher and sink into a single line.

The whole unit is completed with a linoleum-covered worktop.

Additional drawers were added to the base unit, concealed behind the original doors. 

 The remaining fronts were sawn up, given new edges and turned into the fronts of a new cupboard.
Thanks to the shared surface, the new cupboard and the old kitchen unit form a unified unit.
