Design and construction coordination of the new Goldsmith Workshop in Shop, Almstadt Schmuck in Munich, 2024.
Almstadt Schmuck changed venue, so the task was to adapt the formerly spacious shop and workshop into its new 43 m2.
A very specific workbench was developed that provides a suitable place for all the tools and applications.
The furniture was manufactured by Katharina Scherer from Munich.
Two flat wall display units with built-in lighting were made for the wall next to the front door. A steel plate is fitted behind the felt on the back panel, and the balsa wood shelves and hangers are fitted with magnets, allowing them to be positioned freely on the surface.
In the shop window, an illuminated display cabinet that frames the display in a striking yet translucent manner.
As with my DWNED furniture range, I refurbished some old turned pieces, which were then varnished and fitted by Katharina Scherer.
The opening was celebrated with flower and balloons arranged by let love sparkle, Munich.
